My Favorite Machine #1 was very first large art piece anywhere resembling a smartphone of any type.
My Favorite Machine #2 was the first giant smartphone kiosk with video and interactive elements.
These along with My Favorite Machine #3 debuted at The Big Design 2011 Conference in Dallas. They were an instant hit with the crowd of mainly geeky designers.

Second Generation
One of the first changes between the first and second generation of the giant steel phone frame was to enable each icon to be a separate module.

Created specifically for Blockchain Conference in Frisco 2018. These consisted of several variations.

In the fourth generation design it became even easier with the metal Icon the black plate I designed to work with various types of standard fixtures repurposed for art. Copyright r.e.belveal 2016.

Gen 5
The fifthgeneration design was about lightening up and pushed the minimalist envelope and enabling easier use of a large monitor.
Gen 6
The Sixth gen design has ben in work a long time with so many in-between iterations I have lost count. The aim is at maximum portability and versatility while still keeping the early twentieth century heavy industrial motif mixed with contemporary minimalism, ultra-practical usability, low cost and easy manufacturability, and add a touch of 1950s sci-fi. That's a very tough combination to reach, but I am on track. It is also a key element in Roundavu. So stay tuned.
